Napa StoryWalk®

Join us on this outdoor reading adventure!

Join us for the third annual Napa StoryWalk® in four of our most popular Napa County parks this summer! More details will be posted soon about the kickoff event at Skyline Park!

What is the Napa StoryWalk®?

StoryWalk® is an innovative and delightful way for families to enjoy reading and the outdoors at the same time. We’ve created a living art installation and placed pages from the book Call Me Tree, authored by Maya Christina Gonzalez along a walking path in your favorite parks to help kids get outside to enjoy nature and reading together. Take a walk and enjoy the park, the outdoors, and this wonderful book about the annual migration of monarch butterflies.

Favianna will lead with a short talk about the power of art to transform the imagination and honor local ecosystems. Young participants will be able to create their own set of butterfly wings to celebrate the monarch butterfly and the importance of migration.
